In this episode, we start by discussing the reasons why shopping second hand is essential to helping eliminate waste and pollution on our planet. As well as where to find the best thrift stores in your area and even the best times to thrift. Yes, there is a bit of a science to thrifting!
By thrifting, you are doing one of the 3 Rs – reusing. And if you then donate the item after you are done using it, it continues to be reused!

Thrifting takes work. You have to be ready to dig and use your imagination. Meg gives some amazing tips on how to imagine all the uses of an item and great ways to envision using that piece in your home or your wardrobe.
